Spezza is a career PPG, big body centre.

His game also leads me to guess that he can continue to put up elite numbers for another 5-6 years.

I never said that he couldn't do it again and I also noted that my biggest concern about Spezza is his health.
 
Possibly... maybe the past 2 seasons is a blip due to health and he'll return to being better.


However, I'd be willing to bet $50 that Vanek scores more points than Spezza next season.

His game is fine. It's his back that troubles me. Spezza seems like the guy who could very easily be retired in 3-4 years.
 
Quick aside - considering guys like Sensible (and even me, for some reason) get bashed when they don't show their face around here during a Sens slump - I think it's fair to call out zeke who has been quiet as a mouse and PTBNL who has completely disappeared.

Weak stuff.

Meh. Considering the group as a whole has used the Leaf board as a central location for over a decade, that argument is losing steam.

I'd say it makes it worse that the "home" fans don't show their face when the going gets tough.
 
Nah. No one here is obligated to discuss the Leafs.

When you come in just to talk shit when things are going well for you, and leave when you can't talk shit that is different.

You really should unban kb. It's actually more disturbing (to me) that someone here cried loud enough to get it done than anything he ever wrote was.

He adds nothing positive, and I for one am glad to see that sometimes the *******s do not get to do whatever they want.

Every time the issue came up over the years, which was often, that's the answer I advocated.

You have to nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to make sure.
 
Yeah, I was pretty anti-banning for a lot of years, but in the end, teeder and KB convinced me that I was wrong about that.
