Les Habitants Prospects Thread

yep...either him or Zharovsky....might get more for Z even though I think LJ will be a more complete player/swiss army knife who can kill penalties and play on the 2nd PP unit.
Timing = waterbug Stankoven playing an important role for Cup champs (copycat NHL syndrome) + LJs progress going into year 2 of NCAA making him NHL ready at end of season.

LJ is up to 175 lbs -- which puts him in Brendan Gallagher territory with potentially way more skill.

Regardless, what a great bet to make with a 4th round pick!
Dunno about way more skill. Gallagher was a solid goal scorer in juniors and in the NHL. LJ seems more like a playmaker.

I’m a big Gally fan but I generally feel guys come into the league with more skill than they did 15 yrs ago. Coaching has changed dramatically

No doubt but game has changed enormously especially since Gallagher broke in as a rookie in 2013 when many of the old school hockey “merits” still had their place.

Yup and younger when they start their NHL careers , teams have no issue inserting 3-4 rooks unlike years ago
