John Kilngberg spent 4-seasons in SHL and a handful of AHL games and still sucked w DZone play... he still possesses very mediocre IQ in DZone

Norlinder needs minimum another SHL + one AHL season

Any thought of Norlinder going straight to the NHL is insane to me.

In an ideal world, Norlinder goes straight to Laval and gets accustomed to North American ice and style of play.

He's another to be added in the "How Fucking Stupid Can You Be?" category, with Sylvain Lefebvre & Brett Clark...

Not just that. He's one of the top prospects we have on wing atm, and could be one of the first callups if there's an injury. Hell, if he has a good camp, he could possibly make the team if things fall right into place.

As is, though? I think there's virtually no chance he makes the team simply because of the vaccination status.

He's an overager, yeah. Probably the same reason as Harvey-Pinard the year after we drafted him. Didn't think he was ready to be playing pro hockey yet.

The way I look at it is, he's going to be the top player on the best team in Quebec. Maybe even the best team in the whole CHL. He's going to play in all situations, probably going to go very far. Whereas if he went to Laval, he'll be a fourth liner with minimal responsibilities or even just relegated to the ECHL.
