HAMILTON - Alexandre Picard, Kyle Greentree and Jared Ross of Philadelphia each scored power play goals in a 3:35 span of the third period to lead the Philadelphia Phantoms to a 6-0 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday in AHL action.

Philadelphia goaltender Brian Boucher stopped all 28 Hamilton shots he faced to earn the shutout victory.

The Phantoms opened the scoring at 7:33 of the first period with a goal by Jonathan Matsumoto.

Philadelphia took a two-goal lead in the second period on David Laliberte's first AHL goal at 16:47. Josh Beaulieu scored 40 seconds later to extend the lead to 3-0.

The Phantoms added three power-play goals in the third to take a 6-0 lead.

Hamilton goaltender Yann Danis turned aside 25 of 31 shots. The loss drops the Bulldogs' season record to 7-9-0-3.

No one mentioned it, but White and PK Subban got invites to the Team Canada WJC Camp.

I'm really surprised Subban's there though. I don't really think he's got a shot or anything.

White, maybe, as I understand he's a very capable PKer.

ya...seems odd...but good on subban...maybe they are inviting him so he has a taste of it before next year when he has a real shot at it
i wonder what we have going on with the other teams...USA we should have a few...what about the other teams? anybody know?

It was especially surprising since highly touted Alex Pietrangelo wasn't invited.

Pietrangelo's only 17 though. There will only TWO 1990 born player in camp - Tavares and Stamkos.

"Pleasant surprise for Hab's fans, as both White and Subban were question marks in terms of getting an invite. Too bad for Ben Maxwell, who has missed both his opportunities to play for his country at the WJC due to injury. I think White should not only make the team, I think he should be the captain.
Don't know where they got his size (165 pounds

) from, it must have been an under 14 tournament or something

. Whitey will be the heaviest forward in camp, along with Shawn Matthias, at around 215 pounds."

Cool.
