Les Habitants Prospects Thread

On the HABS home page, White is listed as 6'0", whereas Chips is 6'2". In any case they're both gamers from the WHL.

Subban is having another fine playoff season. Although the Bulls lost game 7 last night, they still go to the Memorial cup, so he'll be on TV.

I hope Webber comes back in time.
Any knowledge of his injury status?

At the development camp in August last year, White had one of the better wrist shots of everyone there. I compared him to Ryder (Last year's Ryder) in that regard. Quick, powerful, accurate shot. He also could also skate pretty well and could actually make a pass. But, this was only in drills. I didn't get to see much of him in the half-assed scrimige (sp) where nobody put much effort.

PK Subban is a guy who's going to be popular with fans no matter where he goes. He's the type of guy who has a certain aura about him. Just at the development camp, he spent the most time with the fans afterwards giving autographs and taking pictures with the people even to the point the people working for the Canadians had to pull him away saying "C'mon, we gotta go", and he always had a huge smile on his face. You just can't help but like the guy.

Final CHL Playoffs Update:

Won OHL Final: Advance to Mem Cup as "Hosts".

***

Olivier Fortier - 3 GP, 1 G, 0 A, 4 PIM, +2.
Eliminated in second round (QMJHL).

Ben Maxwell - 10 GP, 6 G, 3 A, +6, 14 PIM.

Weber's injured, but hopefully he'll be fine to play.

Being from Belleville I have watched PK all year and even seen him aournd town, he is a genuine nice kid, and man can he skate. As for Webber I believe it is only a shoulder injury thought I heard them say at last nights game he will be back. You guys are in for a treate to watch PK. I love this kids future.

His skating is unbelieveable...A very powerful skater and his turning and movement is so crisp and tight. Has a very good first pass as well...

If anybody cares, our ECHL team is in the Kelly Cup Finals. They're up 1-0 on the Las Vegas Wranglers.

Cyclones’ rookie David Desharnais leads the Kelly Cup Playoffs with 15 assists and 22 points.
