Hey y'all, yet another Hurricanes STH. Jim, Pucking Lamplighter and I are buddies and we tailgate throughout the season together along with a core of about 20-25. I'm an avid Canes fan and when I'm not at the RBC Center watching hockey, I'm in my whitewater kayak, kayaking and shooting videos of myself and my friends kayaking.

I recognize some names from other places. I don't know if my name is recognized, though.

I am a Ranger fan, so that is probably where you will find me while I visit. I also see that there is a Fight Board. You may see me there, too, since I enjoy professional wrestling. If I find the time, maybe I can bring some life to those boards.

You guys seem like a fun bunch. I look forward to talking hockey with everyone!

The owner/founder of TSB sent an e-mail out telling us he's closing the site "in a few days' time". I'm guessing you'll see some new faces in here as a result while others find other places to go (the non-hockey fans). Hoping the Canucks and Kings boards come over, as they were our most active (along with the Canes) in the last year or so. I invested so much of myself in that place, I'm going to miss it and the regulars there terribly. But many (jeffbear, davemess, TestSubject, VinatieriDefinesClutch, Chaos and the huge Canes migration) have come over here, so all won't be lost in that regard.
 
I'm one of those cast-offs from TBS and even though I am more of a baseball fan than hockey fan I do marginally follow the NHL. I used to be a dyed in- the- wool- Leafs fan, but now I have seen the light and support the home town Ottawa Senators.
