MLB Off-Season, 2024-2025

Well, if you haven't heard, the New York Mets broke the bank to sign Juan Soto to a record deal: 15 years, $765 million. The $700 million deal Shohei Otani signed just last year has already been shattered. Going to make for an interesting off-season now that Soto has signed.

Apart from Corbin Burnes trading Baltimore for Arizona, it seems the biggest offseason moves not already mentioned have all been the Dodgers. To recap
1. Signed the top Japanese pitcher Roki Sasaki
2. Signed Blake Snell, hoping he can rebound fully to become a Cy Young level pitcher again
3. Signed Tanner Scott to close, and freaking Kirby Yates to set up
4. Somehow, after everyone had written him off as a luxury tax casualty, they re-upped last year's breakout star Teoscar Hernandez.

The Yankees, though, followed up the Max Fried signing by trading for pitcher Devin Williams and the rebounding Cody Bellinger, and signing Paul Goldschmidt. Good moves to strengthen a strong team, even without Juan Soto.

Otherwise, the biggest moves find Kyle Tucker going to the Cubs in a trade and Garrett Crochet being traded to the Bosox.
