musings of a life long fan...

His knee is also being held together by a couple of strands of ligament, he’s never been this slow or had zero lateral mobility before - I’m convinced the reason he went to see multiple specialists is because the Habs and the first 2-3 all recommended surgery and he didn’t want to put an end to his season, so he kept doing the specialist tour till one okayed playing on his gimpy knee
That’s probably true.

Yeah, find a wallet with money in it. Should have called the owner to return though. Very sad.

Seriously though, they know they won't be a real contender with Montembeault playing 62 games. Making the playoffs this year wasn't really in the longterm plans.
But that part isn't really on Monty, now is it?

He looks slower than he is, he has decent top speed but he's not quick and slow to accelerate.

I expect once the playoffs are over for Habs, we find out Laine is going in for surgery and will be out 6-8 months, back playing after the New Year …essentially he’ll become a deadline acquisition for next years team
So a “second line” of Dach-???-Demidov?

Well we'll know should he decide to get surgery this summer.

You look at things through the lens of feelings when it comes to sports, I remove how someone feels about anything when looking at performance.
I do?? You've been heavily biased based on your own feelings. It's fine, but don't pretend like you're the arbitrary objective one.

Numbers don't lie. You guys ignore them constantly.

My frustration comes from management and coaching ignoring them too.

Again you're using your famous eye test. Even on me.
