Seriously? Probably never. We will never give up CAD and outsource our monetary policy like that. Even something like a Norway+ arrangement is dodgy because of our internal politics. Deep alignment with the EU means regulations outside of our influence that would probably push Quebec and Alberta both into legit seperation territory.
I think what is most likely is that we just end up with deep and comprehensive agreements covering just about everything. Trade, defence, free movement, etc.

It's fine, they'll just do what 'berta always does. Take credit for the stuff that works, blame Liberals for the stuff that either didn't work, cost too much, etc, etc.
