My conservative brother shipped some bourbon in from Alberta. I’d drive to MTL to grab some wine. I mean, California should just become the 11th Province as far as I’m concerned

I’m pro boycott but also pro Cali wines and Kentucky bourbons so I’m moving to AB

The only thing Bourbon is good for is stripping all the nasty shit out of new cask in order to prepare it for a proper whiskey to age in.

California wines do slap though. I’ll give them that. Fuck ‘em anyway, though.

Aside from being American, there’s also got to be no way that the majority of wealthy Californian vineyard and winery owners aren’t MAGA-as-fuck, even if California as a whole is a blue state.

A matter of tastes I guess, but Canadian wines can in most cases compete very well with any wine from just about anywhere.

Though I do enjoy some of the South African wines. ( I only drink red wines except for the occasional German white.)

I do see that California wines a very popular in Canada.

I’m not laying $40+ for a palatable Canadian wine though, when I can get one that tastes better for 25-35 from California or Australia. Sadly I’ve only had a few Canadian wines I enjoy and they’re top shelf.
