According to CTV the Coutts protesters have moved out. They started leaving after weapons, ammo and body armour was discovered. They indicated that they wanted nothing to do with that type of activity. The passing of the emergency measures act convinced some of the stragglers. Hopefully this is the end of that blockade.

I’m loving this announcement by Freeland that any trucks occupying the city will have their corporate accounts frozen and insurance and licenses suspended. As has been said these are COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, they have no place here.

It’s the exact type of peaceful, no-nonsense approach that should have been taken on day 2.

The fact that Freeland has been in the background and now comes out to announce this specific measure will hopefully raise her profile.

Seems that news was a bit premature. According to CBC there are still some protesters there but the expectation is that it could be cleared tomorrow.

I guess that should read later today.
