Poilievre is a Christofascist so he wants more than merely a 4 year mandate to govern. He wants to turn Canada into an evangelical Christian hellscape.
Poilievre isn't anything. He's whatever he needs to be to get what he wants. His personal opinion about abortion is immaterial. If someone he cares about ever needs one he knows he can get it for them. But if it serves his political ends to ban the practice for everyone else he'll do it.
