He needs to win a by-election in a riding where batshit is a feature, not a bug. The crazier the better.
 
Too bad there isn’t a prominent Alberta séparatiste on the ballot.

PP is going to win the byelection, but he’ll look pretty weak and silly when he’s introduced as the honourable member from Battle-River Crowfoot in the HOC.

Unsurprising. Politically, Byrne & PP are two halves of the same whole and have identical political beliefs & instincts.

And PP has signalled very clearly that he wouldn’t be changing course at all by showing zero introspection since the election and by even in recent days blaming his Carleton loss on all the fat cat civil servants in the riding being afraid he’d cut their jobs.

Now we’ll see if all the anonymous Conservatives who swore after the election that they’d revolt if PP didn’t turf Byrne & change course will put their money where their mouths are.
