Anyway, it preserves the CUSMA exemption and since that, by definition, covers “substantially all the trade” between the US and Canada, most things are still going to be tariff free.

Another stupid optics decision from a profoundly stupid man.

We call it CUSMA in Canada. They call it USMCA. Mexico calls it… something in Spanish.

Same with our other free trade agreements, we put our country first when we refer to it and our trading partners put theirs first. They actually make duplicates of the official copies for signature with the country names reversed.
