Reimer is confirmed in net tonight. Shitson is looking like a healthy scratch for the 2nd game in a row.

Talbot is very likely in net with Lundqvist out.

Hope we see a solid effort from the team, time is ticking on them.

If we win again tonight, we've gotta put Bernier and Clarkson back in.

they are seriously screwing up the tank plan, which was going so well when they're playing.
 
I doubt we have a chance tonight. Rangers are a really good team. Lundqvist struggled against us earlier this year, and as weird as it sounds, it doesn't make it easier with him out. We usually make jobber goalies look like Vezina candidates.

Yep. For whatever reason, the Leafs have owned Lundqvist for as long as I can remember.

Cam Talbot, on the other hand, has played pretty well against us if memory serves.

Yeah, Talbot's had our number I'm pretty sure. Good ole Toronna boy too if I recall correctly.

Will be interesting to see if the Leafs go back to stinking right away or continue to try and resemble an NHL team...
 
it really is fascinating that they keep this kessel line together when they've clearly been a liability at even strength all year. they aren't even good offensively at even strength.

what is the point here?

Kessel line on the ice for 3 of 4 Ranger goals. Ice-time for that line lowest among the four so far tonight.

It is astonishing to me that they are all kept together.
