Ah, glanced at it while with the fam earlier and misread.

These kids putting up the numbers they are is pretty impressive though. It would really suck to lose what could be the next stud for a pick.

.910 after four games is moreso in “not great, not terrible” territory.

Though looking at his game log, a very strong first game prior to his callup is doing all the heavy lifting to keep that number respectable.

Matt Murray’s also leap-frogged past him with a .914 SV% through four starts. Unless he has a big drop-off, probably a good bet he’s the call-up the next time they need a goalie, and they leave the two kids to cook for the rest of the season in the AHL.

The only thing better than small sample statistics are small sample goaltending statistics.

The tough part with Murray is sending him back down. If he's not terrible, he's gone on waivers. The kids are waiver exempt. So if you need a spot start or two, give it to the kids. When Woll is out 4-6 weeks because he "slept wrong" or some shit though, yeah call up Murray if he's still responding well to the methadone.

If he comes up as an emergency recall due to injuries, does he still need waivers to go back down?

Asking because I legitimately don’t know.

interesting that he split lorentz and dewar onto 2 different lines.

the more he shuffles the bottom 6 guys around the more i feel like reaves automatically goes back in once the suspension is over. only a couple more games to change that.
