It would be a fun scenario, but I don’t know that I want to pay up for 4 years of $7m Kadri. Unless we get a young guy, keep it at short term and go for broke next offseason.

To recap: it's one guy with the twitter handle Benoit for Hart posting fake Elliotte Friedman quotes that Yahoo Sports quoted. Every single Kadri report has come from this one twitter account. Which is kind of impressive tbh. I'm jealous. The best part is he doesn't appear to be hiding that he's just a troll. People still got fooled.

People were sending me these quotes they'd said about Kadri and I actually had to send them to the teams and say guys I know you're gonna get calls about this I didn't say this stuff.
You know I just think with Kadri the Flames have been asked about him before.
They have him for term unless he comes to them and says I don't think it's working here I want to go somewhere to compete or they absolutely get their socks blown off to the point where they have to go to him and say we want to do this.
