That's a very tricky situation Israel is in. They are launching rockets into Israel, which is an act of war. They are doing so from locations where they are looking for collateral damage to make worldwide news. Israel usually forewarns the location by dropping pamphlets. I am not sure what you really expect to happen? Damned if you do, damned if you don't. The question is, you are condemning Israel for protecting itself, but not Hamas for actually using children as shields, that's the ****ed up part about it.

He made executive orders to make sure that things were being enforced nation wide (online sellers and gun shows) and that the staff who do the background checks were increased to handle the increased workload this executive order would yield.
I think that is what he is taking credit for.

Only because a large portion of the current crop of republicans have gone off the deep end. Take a look at what republicans have said about background checks being mandatory nation wide for gun show sales in the past, and what the group today is saying.
