I mean in general. I was being nice when I said it's okay if it's private; Mormons are whack. So are they all IMO...christian, catholic, all those crazy pagans... but the republican party as a whole is chock full 'o nuts. Anybody that wants creationism taught in public school should not be allowed near politics.

his key, key recommendation, and the reason why it has been rejected by mcweasel, is to scrap full day kindergarten and scrap his lower class sizes for primary grades. mcweasel sees those as his two signature education policies, he doesnt want to cut those, so he is coming after US to pay for them. its the equivalent of asking firemen to pay for new firetrucks they receive out of their own salaries.

There are several motivating factors in canning it.

The irony I see is that Romney is basically saying you can't have an abortion and we won't educate you on raising the kid you can't abort healthily and won't help you take care of your own body. Basically, don't get pregant. If you **** we'll make sure the government ****s you too.

*Actually, at the end of the day, it really seems like it comes back to that "Buy it yourself." line that O'Reilly kept saying in his debate with Stewart. It doesn't matter that Planned Parenthood does a whole bunch of great things for women's health - many Americans seem to have an every man for himself mindset. That is kind of disturbing to me.
 
If he's opposed to abortion then he would be opposed to PP, wouldn't he? I used to be pro-choice but not so much anymore, yet I also do not believe in God. My anti-abortion view (except in the case of rape, incest, etc.) has zero to do with religion.

Any budgetary cuts to programs that don't help his base are political points.

He'd batshit crazy.

He's afraid his boys will get knocked up and taken care of.

The program is miss-run (which is true) and should be done away with instead of fixed.

And the real reason is he really wants abortions done so why the need for planned parenthood.
