OT: American Politics

I do think Trump will be the nominee in the end, but just because of the sheer batshit craziness of it there is a chance it'll be someone else. Certainly if the Supreme Court figures out that presidents who try to overthrow the government of the United States should not be allowed to run for president again.

Plus a small chance his candidacy could crumble under the weight of all the criminality, and also a fair number of Never Trumpers (though of course nowhere near enough) trying to pull the party back towards reality.

Maybe a mob of aggrieved never-trumpers will storm the Republican convention and prevent them from nominating Trump. That would be hilarious.
