The GOP hasn't invested a dime into voter registration because they have always known that they will never have enough votes to win. They've given up on trying to win with more votes. What theu have spent money on are things like voter suppression and lawsuits to get legal voters tossed off the rolls. And when they lose next week, they'll be spending money on more lawsuits that will seek to invalidate the results of the election and to pay off fake electors who will attempt to deny certification.

They've known since Harris entered the race that theyre not winning at the ballot box. And for longer than that They've known that their policies will never be popular with a majority of Americans. That's why they want to end representative democracy to begin with; because they know they can't win that way anymore.

So next Tuesday will be the beginning, not the end, of this process. MAGA already knows they aren't winning the vote. Their only hope is for the Supreme Court to throw it to them. Either way, violence will be needed so we should all brace for it.

... and while completely missing the point that women who would be surrogates for any couple, gay or straight, who could not conceive on their own, would be doing so.... by their own choice, based in free-will of what to do with their bodies and not being dictated to or forced by law.

The missus and I went last Saturday morning when the early voting site opened for the day. A 45 minute wait, but we're closer to one of the always-busier early voting sites in the county. Good way to start our anniversary day :) No issues at the site besides the line, and fighting the urge to say something snarky to some of the people wanting to talk to us or hand us voting suggestions between the parking lot and the line.

And I don't recall Vance saying or doing a goddammit thing. He was too busy trying to amplify the "Haitians are eating dogs and cats" narrative before running home to hug his guns and fuck his couch.
