Yep. Why should I thank you for your service? No one held a gun to your head. Why should I thank a cop or a soldier more than I should thank a barista or a busboy for their service?

I'll say the same thing to a grunt that I'll say to a person with bratty kids. At some point, you VOLUNTEERED for this. So yeah, thanks for doing your job.

I would also tell this grunt that Cheney never called him a sucker or a loser like Trump did.
