One thing I have considered during my anti poll ranting of the last few months that would track with this entire movement is that it too isn't as co ordinated a right wing effort as I'm concerned about it being, and it's also just a fucking grift. Trump's throwaway comment on Rogan about paying 500K for a poll that they don't even do keeps sticking in my head. It's definitely an alternative explanation to someone like Fabrizio getting involved in multiple polling start ups and using his right wing PAC connections to fire out polls, apparently at 500K a piece. The easiest way to stay in Donald's good graces and keep the money hose turned on is to flatter him.

Nah that doesn't track - there's no scenario where NC is less likely for him than the blue wall states.
