OT: American Politics

They stole the idea from slick Willie… but they added a meme name

>>In 1993, after President Bill Clinton promised to “reinvent government,” Vice President Al Gore led the newly created National Partnership for Reinventing Government. The goal was similar to Mr. Trump’s effort — to reduce federal spending by eliminating wasteful programs, cutting unnecessary jobs and making the bureaucracy work better.
By the time it ended five years later, Mr. Gore’s effort had succeeded in reducing some overlap in government programs and cutting some federal jobs. But it fell far short of a total reinvention of the government. With about three million employees, the federal government head count has grown slightly in recent years but remains well below the peak it reached in the late 1980s.

Not the argument. More like "Ok I've spent half of my take home pay on housing, half of the remaining on childcare, and half of the remaining on monthly groceries and now I'm living paycheck to paycheck"
That's because of corporate greed, not inflation. If employers were forced to pay people a living wage they could afford eggs. If grocery chains were punished for price gouging, people could afford the damned eggs. It's ALWAYS down to corporate greed, not government. And all the GOP is going to do is make corporate greed the law of the land.

Eggs prices are definitely higher than historical average.

Look at beef too. Sheesh
3 or 4 companies control the entire meat business in the US. That's why beef is expensive. Collusion at the corporate level. It's got sweet fuck all to do with government or the 2% inflation rate.

How batshit crazy do you have to be to create an "impeachment" that's clearly bogus and use it as a political ploy? Talking about destroying our democracy.
Nothing bogus about it. Trump has committed every single crime he's ever been charged with and several more that he wasn't charged with. He is a petty criminal. He commits crime when following the law would work just as well.
