Pregnant Kentucky woman cited for street camping while in labor
She told a police officer she was in labor. The Louisville Metro Police Department lieutenant cited her for unlawful camping as the ambulance arrived. She had a baby later that day.

I know the cool kids like to repeat that Trump is Putin's puppet, etc, etc. But Trump is out for Trump first and always. I mumbled some shit about this after the election, the Europeans aren't idiots and they have way, way deeper pockets than Russia. Also, I don't think the Trumpanzees understand fully just how much of a budget bonanza this war is for them. They screech about all of the "money" being given to Ukraine, but the truth is very fucking simple. The Ukrainians are getting 30+ yr old used and decommissioned equipment priced as if it was brand new sent to them. So the current admin gets to write off billions in useless dead military spend, and slide that accounting write off over to "cover" the costs of newer, better shit they already have rolling off of the line.
It's one of the few times where the military industrial complex and government accounting fuckery are coming together to do something good.
