Best guess is that it's a nothing paper deal to give Trump a win so he unfreezes the aid he just froze. There are literally weapons shipments in Europe right now that were on their way to Ukraine that have been halted.

So one thing I'm a little bit heartened by is how the tone of the conversations on fednews have shifted in the last 72 hours. It went from fear to acceptance to fucking anger in a hurry. This only stops when the American people get angry and make it stop, and basically radicalizing the federal civil service is a good way to light a fuse. Fwiw, the federal civil service is loaded with military veterans.
