Time to introduce conscription. And if any father aids and abets their son in fleeing the jurisdiction, they should be forced to take the place of their son on the front line. Height requirements will be relaxed to accommodate this.

Precisely. When Germany re-occupied the Rhineland, their forces were prepared to turn tail and run back into Germany if the French army moved against them. But the French didn't do anything. And before long, the Germans realized that the French weren't going to do anything and so they annexed Austria and then demanded the Sudetenland. And then they took all of Czechoslovakia, which caused Neville Chamberlain (the Susan Collins of the 1930's) to become "very concerned".

One of the most incomprehensible things for me about this current crop of fascists is the fact that they apparently have no capacity whatsoever to feel shame.

Elon, for multiple years, has gone out of his way to gleefully antagonize everyone on the planet that falls to the left of Steve Bannon on the political spectrum. Culminating in him throwing up multiple seig heils to celebrate the authoritarian fascist President he spent billions to help get elected, and then personally overseeing the dismantling of the Federal government.

And despite all that, he’s whining, crying, pissing and moaning like he’s the victim because people are protesting his businesses (which Elon has always made sure are very closely associated with him personally) and because Liberals won’t buy his cars anymore.
