What exactly will that do though? Do you think he will step down? Take it under advisement? I don’t see how an impeachment will do anything to a felon who still got elected.

Oh, Trump wouldn’t give a shit, and he’ll never step down or voluntarily leave office again for any reason.

What it might accomplish is waking up more Americans to the mortal threat to their rights and the rule of law. Until American citizens start getting gunned down in the streets or disappeared into gulags for the crime of disagreeing with the President, I think the overwhelming majority of Americans are content to stick their heads in the sand and hope this is a temporary storm that’ll either blow over or won’t hit them personally.

Kind of like every time an occupying force guns down civilians or insurgents, it just creates more insurgents.

Trump is never stepping down or even stepping aside. He is going to stay President unless or until he is removed by force. Votes and elections don't matter to him. Power does.
