OT: American Politics

pretty sure you can show up at a polling station on election day and so long as a registered voter "vouches" for you, you get a ballot, and it counts.
For the Ontario election, because I had moved, I went to the polling station and had to show two forms of ID with a picture on it. I'm not sure if that's the norm or if this specific person just wanted to see it.
