The dumbest analysis was that everyone would get in line and negotiate with the US. From Bill Ackman to even some fintwit or CNBC bros that claim they're not hard Maga.

American hubris is going to be the death of them. You're not gonna win a war with the world. No one's gonna "bend the knee". .

So yeah the next phase of this covid dump is when we realize the virus keeps spreading at an alarming rate. I mean... When we realize other countries will retaliate and not bend.

It’s mostly that with a little bit of stubborn optimism that “things won’t be that bad” which is usually true BUT sometimes a pandemic is more than “just a cold” and the reconfiguration of the world order is more than “just a negotiation tactic”

One good thing about the economy, collapsing is that they can’t go to war and invade Canada if they can’t sustain their people. Like a four day old grape on the counter in the middle of summer.

It’s just not edible anymore

That's the toughest part about all of this. At least during covid you could argue some would be winners like Telehealth corps (RIP CBII). No one wins here. No one.
