This came up in a video on one of the youtube channels I follow, and was just interesting enough to do a few searches.
So apparently, the price of eggs in Ukraine while in the middle of a fucking war are 80-110 hryvnias per dozen. Which is about 2.70-3.70 CAD, or 1.93-2.66 USD.
So I decided to check Mexico and us as well because why not:
The mercados always have the best prices and supermarkets are pricier in Mexico than what we would call a farmer's market down there. But just looking at the website of the supermarket I usually shop at when I'm down there: https://www.soriana.com/buscar?q=huevo

1 dozen: 2.02 USD
1.5 dozen: 2.91 USD
Tray of 30: 4.53 USD
Canada:
1 dozen: 2.83 USD
Tray of 30: 6.62 USD

Tray of 30: 11.68 USD (16.22 CAD)
