What am I missing here?
Have I missed the outcry from big oil in the states? Or has it all happened behind closed doors?

Isn't the oil price downfall directly related to the tariffs?
Isn’t big oil in the states, oh I don’t know, massively powerful? Massively influencial?
Are they not in the orange overlord’s ear?
I know big oil is pretty much right wing redneck god fearing folk…But I thought they prayed to the portfolio and bottom line gods more than anything else.
 
And I am now just reading that the saudis have been increasing production through all of this.
Hasn’t the orange overload been deep throating them since forever?
This increase in production from the saudis must look like a big middle finger to Donnie?
 
Yep. Just imagine the drop in demand for bunker sea (ships) and diesel (truck, trains) because cargo shipments have collapsed. Jet fuel too, but volumes are modest. The indirect impact when the US goes onto a technical recession will be huge too.

Not good for us because Danielle Smith will get even more hostile.
 
American studios will push back against Trump's latest tariff plan.
It's kind of funny because Mission Impossible comes out in 2 weeks and they would have basically been banned from filming and would have had to write a completely different script.
