I'd totally accept that as a gift if the giver insists that I owe them nothing whatsoever and that there will be no conditions of any kind and that they just want to show how much they appreciate me being such a great guy.
 
Might be a sell the news scenario so they might be more “news” with a few of the other 200 countries they’re dealing with
 
It's a tricky market to play. Because you know deep down that everything this administration announces is for self promotion and stock pump purposes. But you also know that it doesn't matter and big money will always use a catalyst (real or not) to squeeze shorts or longs. So you must keep an open mind on where the short to mid term price action goes.

I know I said this same thing a month ago but we sorta v-shaped since then so the point remains.

For sure, the challenge is to know the mostly unknowable — how are people positioned before the “news” hits.

My hunch is most of this latest headline was priced in with this latest V shaped rally.

We simply don’t get such a steep V shape if people predicted that the aftermath of wkd talks was more antagonism on top of potential 125% tariffs

Yeah a bit surprised to see futures react so positively to this. Eventually the market will adapt and call bullshit on this stuff one would think. Maybe tomorrow the news is sold.

Made a lot more sense to see the big bounces on bs news when there was blood on the street. Now, not so much. But hey, I don't make the rules. Or play. I just watch.
