It’ll be interesting when the July and (especially) August CPI are released. Unless they start cooking the books after seeing the June PMI which is clearly pointing to a surge in inflation.

Ed Elson was talking to people, and they think the inventory turnover in the late summer and early fall (Merry Christmas!) will be when inflation we see the price increase.

If yer gonna kick 15M people off Medicaid, it has to have teeth after all! All they’ve done for now is shift the incidence from public spending to private insurance and the burden from taxpayers to policy holders… which causes inflation.

Interesting strategy by Trump. He knows his MAGAt base are weaklings, terrified of being out of the group they’re in for the first time in their lives. Threatening them could backfire, but it could also soften them to the absurdity of whatever fake files he eventually puts out.
