Amid all the ballyhoo surrounding the "renovation" of the East Wing and the Rose Garden cum patio a few months ago, one key point has been lost or glossed over at least.
No one who is renting a house that he is planning to vacate in a couple of years is doing any major renovation work. By the time that ballroom is finished, Trump's term will be at least halfway done. So why would he build it unless he's planning to make the White House his permanent residence?
This is fascism and it isnt coming soon. It's already here.
