This is a perfect illustration of how utterly hopeless the United States is.

Even in the midst of the country’s self-immolation under Trump and his constant unprovoked aggression against America’s allies, it’s still a coin toss at best whether the American public will vote to take away his control of the Senate. Slightly worse odds than that, really, considering Fetterman is a MAGA Republican in almost every way that counts.
