Platforming is a problem in a lot of situations though. Like, Joe Rogan bringing on anti vaxxers and then throwing up softball questions with no push back on known bullshit while making sympathetic noises with his mouth that a well versed anti vaxxer knows all of the bullshit counter arguments for? Massively damaging to public discourse.

Someone like Mehdi Hassan bringing on a wingnut and politely taking them apart though, obviously not the same issue. As usual, context is important.
 
Sounds like Nick bitched out on a lot of his prior comments and Hunter was enamoured by his charisma. They'd probably get along and have great chemistry tbh. I'm not a podcast guy, but I'd watch a Hunter and Nick podcast!
