Yes, but it's tough when the ownership of your news outlet just wants to you follow the flurry of nonsense instead.

The whole point, from an authoritarians view, of dismantling and damaging institutions is to create an environment where people who work for those institutions know that they can't do things that challenge power without paying significant personal costs.
