it did come to change.. and finding someone who could provide simple answers to complex problems...and I don't think Sanders wins either. Tax plan was too damn high.
 
Trying to convince myself that after making it through the W years, we can also get through this.

We just have to deal with another 9/11, illegal war, Hurricane Katrina, torture as official U.S. policy, and collapse of the global economy first.

Though there's also the fact that while W did not have a lot of competence or integrity, he still had about a million times more than this guy has.
 
the only good scenario is that truml can bully the gop with his own popularity into immplementing crowd pleasing liberal solutions, given that his voters clearly don't care about conservative principles. if he wqnted to, he could for example create a public option called Trumpcare, convince his voters that its a good thing qnd not at all like dirty democrat policies....and the dems would go along with it becaue they actually believe in it. Trump could go down as a hero by implementing all sorts of liberal policies while just calling them conservative policies really loudly.

but that's a pipedream.

W has Darth Cheney....without him, he would have been a lot less effective at, well, everything.

Here's hoping that Trump doesn't find himself a Sith Master to sit behind his throne. One thing we can count on that spray tanned **** for is that his ego won't allow for any other hands on the wheel.
 
As much as the people around him will try to prevent him from doing stupid shit, they'll also prevent him from doing anything progressive.
