I still say he's going to be indicted.

Indicted perhaps, convicted? A longshot at best. And jail time? Not gonna happen. No one has the balls to do it which is why the coup will eventually succeed. Because the people who could put a stop to it don't have the balls to go against the "norm" of not putting former Presidents in jail. At the end of the day I think that Biden himself would rather pardon Trump than put him in prison, just so as not to break precedent.

He will be indicted somewhere. ( too many options available). But I agree conviction would be a long shot federally.

New York state would happily jail him though.

I'm not a cynic, I'm just positive humankind isn't capable of governing itself in masses. Anthropology has suggested that humans optimally work best (in terms of best for each individual equally) in groups of 200-400. The larger it gets, the more people suffer.

Look at this shit ass world today. Now I know how humans are naturally prepared to die, fuck this shit.
