OT: American Politics

It's incredible what Trump could have been. With The support he had from the right, he could have implemented much needed policies that were good for the people, could have exposed politicians and their dedication to donors vs the people...etc etc. He could have been a historic figure.

Eh, I think this overlooks the obvious flaw at the core of Trump and Trumpism. The vanity, cruelty, stupidity, etc is entirely the point. Without the blatant sociopathy, there is no Trumpism. That's what draws his followers towards him. So sure, could Trump have cosplayed a sociopath for long enough to dupe the right into considering him 2nd only to Jesus in their hearts and then pivoted into being a true benevolent populist and catapulted the US forward a few decades into a wonderful future? Yeah, absolutely. But make no mistake, that still would have required a con that the invidividual is simply not capable of. There's nothing in his DNA that allows for him to put any good, common or otherwise ahead of even the tiniest scrap of personal gain.

Trump simply could never have been what you're suggesting. He's the chosen avatar of his follower's worst impulses, not the other way around.

Call me crazy but I am starting to suspect there is something shady going on here ...

Well if you are suggesting he got played I'd concur with your assessment. In regards to more things then just this...

Cawthorn is just such a sharp guy he obviously was playing them...
in Tic tacs... there is no Toe to be found here.. they were just playing the game of war.. (card version)

He sure fumblefucks the beginning of that story, doesn't he?

A few things:

-The ferry ride from Stockholm (closest point in Sweden or Norway) to St Petersburg is 38 hours long
-There are legal casinos in Stockholm, but they traveled 38 hours by boat for reasons
-Cawthorn has held zero professional positions outside of politics. If he was in Miami for "work", it was while he was a part time staffer for Mark Meadows. He pretends to be a real estate investor, but in 2019 reported zero earnings.
-US born....Captain in the Russian military? Who has a close personal relationship with a staffer from the office of the chair of the "Freedom Caucus", who was further nominated by that same person in 2014 for the naval academy (they said gfto)...same politician is later Trump's chief of staff.

There is literally nothing extraordinary about Cawthorn. He was a mediocre to bad student and did nothing of public note between leaving Meadow's office and running for office as a Trumper in 2020. This absolutely stinks of Russian intel.

Additionally...it appears that Russia closed all legal casinos in 2010.

If he met this Russian officer where he said he did, odds are the "casino" was a gambling den/brothel combo that allegedly the Russian mob is fond of operating under the same roof.

Also keep in mind that Russian money laundering through Miami Beach real estate is rampant. So we've got a kid with no education and no professional credentials/history who owns a "real estate investment firm" that reports no on the books revenue, but is in Miami "for work" while meeting up with a Russian military officer.

Jesus titty fucking christ it's hard to be more obvious than this.

Yup, seems pretty clear he is a Russian asset. More interesting question is, how many others are there?
