Also, some people who know this shit way better than I do are saying that this is probably the hedge funds blowing up looking for cash, and not a dump on the market by a country.

Which....uhhh...sounds worse to be in some ways.
 
I don't know enough about markets to figure out dead cat bounces or futures or hedge fund or treasury yields and what it all means. I think right now whenever I want to be depressed I will open my investment portfolio, and otherwise I guess we just wait and see how long the red wave continues?
