No it won't. It will only be legal because Trump served 2 non-consecutive terms. Obama served his 2 back to back.

So only Trump and Grover Cleveland, who died in 1908, would be eligible to run for a third term, should this law be changed.

it will be legal for Trump, but not Obama. and the elections will be neither free nor fair. we're putting the cart way ahead of the horse here. gotta hang on to democracy and rule of law first.
 
I think Beshear might be okay but I'm not willing to buy a rookie card or whatever because he might decide he wants to become BFFs with Alex Jones tomorrow at the rate we're going.

I just know that so far it seems he's managed to stick to some pretty important principles even being the governor of a very red state.

I'm as down on US democracy as anyone, but dictators often try to hide their bullshit behind a layer of legal legitimacy. If they're going to change the interpretation of the 22nd ammendment, it's going to be difficult to do it in a way that excludes Obama.

As for any election between the two being free and fair, yeah absolutely.

Oh fuck, and I just googled and he's launching a podcast next week so I reserve the right to pretend I never said this if he has some right wing nutter on.
