They’ll eat tariffs temporarily for sure if they’re promised an even better deal on the back end (massive tax cuts).

They do a lot of tax avoidance already. Now, the might get a benefit from seeing statutory rates come down significantly to avoid the fancy offshore accounting.

Anyway, shareholders will “eat” some of the tariffs through lower dividends and that will likely flow though to equity price.
