I won't pretend to have any detailed knowledge of his proposals, so fair enough
 
remember, trump & co. are quite literally betting that by removing enough illegals (who can't vote, but they're sure are voting) that they will assure republican election wins for a long long time.

thankfully they are very bad at math.
 
Yeah, I'm surprised but not surprised that this city grocery store thing would even be remotely controversial. LCBO is a government owned retailer.

But even in the US, various levels of government owns shits like grain mills, cannabis shops, rum distillers, Amtrak, utilities, casinos, broadcasters, etc.

It's only socialism when it's not a rural midwest state doing it though.
