I’d say it’s time for Yurp to step up and take the baton, but they also have to spending a lot on defence too.

The Germans (including Turkish immigrants I think) were bigly for the covid vaccine and Oxbridge, Institut Pasteur and places like that have the cred to carry out top flight R&D.

My question… what happens to the IP in development? Is it conserved or lost? I assume that is spelled out in the finding arrangements NHS is cancelling.
 
As for the US… Age of Imbeciles.

Enjoy the (preventable) disease outbreaks and surges in food borne illness.

And… in the long term there will be the lost commercial benefits of not bringing new product to market. Choosing not to boil milk ain’t exactly a boon for monetization…

I’m seized by this issue because it appears mRNA is a legitimately disruptive technology and you just don’t piss that kind of stuff away.

Yurp has to step up. We can help, but we don’t have the scale.

Unfortunately this one hurts us and the world too. But would nice to see Canada take up the mRNA mantle.
