Did Trump commit "high crimes and misdemeanors"? If so, articles of impeachment. It also makes them far more concerned about what things look like after Trump. It's easy to be greasy for Trump when you think he'll let you do whatever you want, and then pardon you if it all comes out publicly. But how unsure of those outcomes do you have to be before you stop doing crimes in his name out of simple self preservation.

The perception that the democrats are soft bitches who won't go legal scorched earth after regaining legislation and investigative power is what will animate this fuckery right up until 11:59.

Democrats have a perception issue with the public. People think they're pussies who don't actually believe in anything. Show them differently by fighting every day. That's really all that most regular people want, to feel like the government sometimes gives a shit about the same things they do and are willing to fight for it.

I love how the counter argument had nothing to do with making any sort of points about how the US did in fact achieve pre war goals in some of the conflicts they were in, and that the point made by the student isn't actually correct even if has a point in rebuttal of the point made by the speaker. I mean, that would be the rational way to address the student's point. Instead it immediately becomes a ridiculous emotional appeal about the troops.
