OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

One thing you learn pretty quickly as a dog owner downtown is that Toronto actually has plenty of green space. Just within a 15-20 minute walk from my front door, there’s at least seven different parks I can think of, off the top of my head.

There’s also no shortage of soccer pitches, baseball diamonds and other wide-open green spaces where people could really spread out.

So even though TB is the nicest and biggest park in the West end, I can’t really fathom why anyone would pack in there when it was already so crowded instead of going elsewhere.

Fucking hipsters.

so if the point was to lay in some grass there is no need to go to a jam packed park

Yep, exactly.

if no other hipster spots you, did you even leave the house, bro?

...and imagine if the Instagram post of your beautiful picnic spread isn’t tagged as being located in the trendiest park in the city?

I mean, forget Covid. The embarrassment would probably kill you first.

With wider testing now, is anyone thinking of checking it out? To be honest, that spike to the brain looks like a good time. I am curious on how easy/available the testing is.

God, can you imagine people seeing you hang out at Stanley Park or like the Garrison Commons near Fort York? Just kill me now.

Is this actually a thing? There are "cool" parks and park shaming?

I lived downtown for a couple years and had no idea I was hanging out at lame parks the whole time.
