I have a bit of high cholesterol and pretty high Triglyceride, have to go easy on food with high level of carbohydrates like Rice and bread and red meat which is really hard, i am big red meat and rice and bread fan.
Bread is raising your Triglycerides. Mine were ridiculously high too. I once had a doctor show me a study that people from the East (Eastern Europe, Middle East) are predisposed to it far more than Asians and Western Europeans. No explanation why, just that sub-category. I once had a Trygliceride reading over 1000. My diet changed right then and there. Now I maintain around 200. If you have an issue, use Omega-3 Fish Oil.
