OT: MLB Thread

It's baseball, there's more chance in a short series than in other sports where one guy can just will their team to a win. LA has won two games in a row all year so it's not over. But the BJ's do look unstoppable (they have no holes in their lineup despite having a lot of journeyman types, must be the hitting coach). Maybe it's best to just get it over on Friday so I can focus on the Habs-Turds game on Saturday.

They finished higher because the Dodgers were missing half their team for four months. Without those injuries they're an easy 100-105 win team. Their record actually showed how talented they are.
To some starters sure. And that was the only place the Dodgers had an advantage.

Definitely not over. Dodgers have the starters and experience to do it.

Not an issue for me. I've only watched a half inning of this WS, the bottom of the 9th in Game 3. Aside from that I've skipped it. I just can't be arsed anymore. Of course I hate the Jays, but I also couldn't name 5 players on their roster (although one of them is Bieber, which I find to be "on point")

But I also hate the Dodgers because I generally hate all So-Cal teams in all sports. If the Mariners had made it, I might have watched as I have a soft spot for them since the 95 playoff run, but again, I can barely name anyone on the roster. Baseball is simply a sport I no longer follow, like basketball or tennis. I cant even list all the teams by division or league anymore.

A few years back when the Raptors won the NBA championship, I didn't even realize it until the day it happened. I dont even recall who they beat. The only Raptors game I ever attended live was played at the SkyDome back in the mid-90's. I recall going to some Vancouver Grizzlies games during their inaugural season and watching a few Sonics games when they were carried on cable TV in Vancouver in the early to mid-90's. I've not watched an NBA game from beginning to end in close to 30 years.

I only really give a shit about the Habs anymore.

Two good not great teams. Story of the season in the MLB. No dominate teams.
Yeah, it's not the 90's any more where a team full of Hall of Famers like the Braves and Mariners still were usually not good enough. I don't really follow baseball that much, but one year wonders like the Rangers a couple of years ago are not unusual. But the BJ's are playing like champions right now.
